Cegid’s upcoming acquisition of Notilus rounds out its product range with one of the leading solutions for managing expense reports and business trips in the cloud.

Paris, 25 May 2022 – Cegid, a leader in cloud-based management solutions for professionals in finance (ERP, cash management, tax), human resources (payroll, talent management), accounting, retail and entrepreneurship, has entered exclusive negotiations with a view to acquiring the Dimo Software subsidiary Notilus, a French software vendor with a staff of 138.

Notilus is one of the leading vendors of Travel & Expense (T&E) software, used to manage travel expenses and expense reports. The company is backed by 25 years of experience and has over 1,000 cross-industry customers in both France and abroad. Most of these are SMEs, mid-caps and large companies such as Acadomia, Atol Les Opticiens, Casino, Groupama, Groupe ADP, Legrand, Rossignol, Groupe Seb, Stellantis, FN Herstal, Ferrovial and other prestigious international companies, banks and international organisations, representing 2,000,000 users.

Notilus markets three main offerings, all of them cloud-based: Notilus T&E, the flagship solution for managing expense reports and travel reservations for the private sector; Notilus InOne, an expense report and travel management solution for the public sector; and lastly Notilus YourWay, a vehicle fleet management solution that complements its main suite.

With this acquisition and the incorporation of the Notilus offerings, Cegid aims to expand its addressable market by adding one of the leading solutions on the T&E market to its product portfolio. It also hopes to boost the development of Notilus and its SaaS sales by leveraging its expertise and know-how in the field, both in France and on the international market. Cegid will also add this supplementary building block to its solutions so that tomorrow its existing and future customers will have an innovative T&E tool that is directly incorporated into Cegid’s solutions.

Notilus is a major brand with a recognised track record. Its innovative and useful solutions are very high quality, very popular with its customers, and also quick and easy to deploy,” says Pascal Houillon, Cegid’s CEO. “With the forthcoming arrival of Notilus, its talented employees, co-creation culture and market-leading offerings, we are boosting our strategy of addressing the needs of Finance Departments, one of Cegid’s five top-priority markets, and will consolidate our European leadership in cloud-based management solutions.

Gilles Bobichon, Chief Executive Officer of Notilus, the members of the executive committee and Notilus’s 138 employees will join Cegid and its Finance Business Unit under Jean-Baptiste Auzou’s leadership on final signature of the contract, expected shortly.

This merger is happening at a perfect time in Notilus’s development. Driven by sustained growth over the past few years, buoyed up by our leadership on this market and proud to enjoy our customers’ trust, we are ready for a new phase in our development. We are very happy at the prospect of joining Cegid and will do our utmost to continue this adventure as we serve our customers and set out to conquer new markets,” concluded Gilles Bobichon. Chief Executive Officer of Notilus.

As is customary, the operation is subject to approval by the competent regulatory authorities; the competent employee representative bodies must also be informed and consulted on the matter in accordance with the applicable laws.
