RETAIL IS CHANGING, and the consumer is expecting more from their shopping experience in today’s age of connected commerce. Customers are using more touch-points and more connected devices to interact with retailers, both on-line and in-store. With so much change in the industry, retailers need a strategy in place that supports digital transformation and the digitization of the store (see story).

Cegid held its Connections 2016 the Americas User Conference in San Diego, California from March 6th – 9th, 2016, attracting 150+ retailers and partners from around the world to share insights, trends, experiences and best practices in the changing world of unified commerce. At Connections, retailers saw first-hand the latest technologies in omnichannel retailing, business intelligence and analytics, mobility, clienteling, and cloud and how it all helps drive sales and enhance the consumer’s experience.
