Cegid Powers lululemon’s 100th Store
Cegid, a global leader in AI-powered unified commerce, recently played a pivotal role in supporting Arion Retail Group’s aggressive expansion of lululemon across Europe.
The partnership reached a historic milestone this month with the opening of lululemon’s first store in Poland. Located in Warsaw, this debut marked the 100th location for lululemon within the EMEA region.
As a primary franchise partner for lululemon in key European territories, Arion Retail Group is leveraging Cegid Retail to navigate the technical and regulatory complexities of high-growth markets. The Warsaw launch serves as the flagship for a record-breaking 2026 roadmap, with Arion scheduled to launch stores into Greece, Romania, Hungary, and Austria.

Solving the Fiscal Frontier
For Retail IT and operations teams, European expansion is often hindered by a fragmented mosaic of local tax laws and e-invoicing mandates. Arion Retail Group selected Cegid Retail for its robust international localisation, ensuring that every transaction, from Denmark to Poland, meets strict local fiscal compliance without the need for heavy, custom integrations.
Technical Pillars of the Expansion:
- Rapid Market Entry: Following successful “go-lives” in Belgium and Denmark in 2025, the Cegid Retail platform has become the deployment blueprint for Arion, significantly reducing time-to-market for upcoming launches in Hungary and Greece.
- Unified Inventory: Arion utilises Cegid’s real-time tracking to ensure product availability, supporting lululemon’s community-led retail model across diverse geographies.
- Operational Excellence at Scale: By centralising POS and back-office operations on a single SaaS platform, Arion manages diverse currencies and languages across its growing portfolio from a unified system.
