Interview with Crayon’s HR Manager: Transforming HR with Cegid Solutions

Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, with a global presence spanning 46 countries and a dedicated team of 4,000 professionals, Crayon champions IT optimization and innovation. It delivers IT solutions and advises customers on their digital transformation journey by optimizing IT costs, embracing the cloud and AI technologies.
I joined Crayon three years ago to establish the HR department, initially in France and now extending to the Southern Europe regions, including Spain and Portugal. For me, establishing HR processes from scratch was challenging but also incredibly rewarding.

The use of the Cegid solution at Crayon

Using the modules Performance, Recruitment, and Core HR modules of Cegid HR, we focus on three key areas:

  1. Globalizing and centralizing our HR processes. Crayon operates in more than 40 countries each with unique HR policies. Cegid HR helps us harmonize these processes and assess necessary procedures.
  2. Providing a comprehensive view of employee information, such as personal data, turnover, and recruitment metrics, which aids in prioritizing HR initiatives.
  3. Managing HR campaigns effectively, including annual reviews and performance assessments, to support management and employees in achieving employment goals.

What are your goals with the use of our products?

Our objectives include centralizing and standardizing HR processes, reducing errors, saving time, and dedicating more effort to high-value projects that engage our employees.

New users of Cegid HR find it easy and user-friendly

How long does it take for a new user to get used to the solution?

It only takes a few days for new users to get up to speed with the solution, thanks to its ease of use and user-friendly design.

 

Would you say the UX of the users is improved with Cegid HR?

Yes, despite many users being new to HR information systems, we haven’t received any report of difficulties. This suggests that Cegid HR offers an intuitive and user-friendly experience.

How does being able to rely on the solution give you a particular advantage in relation to your business (speed, reliability, power, etc.)?

The solution enables us to conduct people reviews efficiently, assess departure risks, and evaluate performance. This ensures we align employees to the right roles, optimizing recruitment and talent management.
