Minelli speeds up shift towards omnichannel retailing with Cegid’s unified commerce platform.
Footwear retailer overhauls IT systems across Europe to improve in-store, customer service, reporting, financial and stock management.
Minelli has opted for the rollout of Cegid Retail’s cloud-based software to manage its activity, from order management, stock & replenishment to sales including enhanced reporting modules to track performance across the global store estate. It will also deploy Cegid’s financial accounting software and steadily introduce new automated processes over a 12-month period.
“We’re seeing an accelerated shift towards the need for more digital and omnichannel services in retail and more demand for cloud-based software,” says Nathalie Echinard, director of the retail business unit at Cegid. “A SaaS infrastructure will allow Minelli to be more agile and flexible in its development and to focus on the business challenges that lie ahead.”
