We top the 2019 Customer Satisfaction for Large Vendors ranking and the 2019 Apparel Vendor Leaders (Full Data Set) ranking. Industry mark of approval

The annual LeaderBoard is an influential guide to retail software, produced by Retail Info Systems (RIS), a leading B2B retail trade publication. Considered by many to be the ‘Oscars of Retailing’, the report is widely quoted in the industry and sets to identify and rank the leading worldwide retail software solution providers. Cegid is proud to have garnered high ranking positions in an impressive 10 of the Report’s 50 categories — more than any other individual vendor.

How are software vendors rated?

The LeaderBoard results are determined by a number of criteria, including evaluations by retailers, as well as extensive research carried out by the RIS editorial team, taking into consideration each software vendors’ retail concentration and revenue size.

The rankings are largely based on a ‘Customer Satisfaction score’ which is calculated using 10 individual criteria, each of which is an essential element in the implementation and daily use of software in a retail enterprise, the report explains. This highlights the ‘super achievers’ – vendors who deliver what retailers want in software applications.

“By breaking out the 10 criteria into individual lists we get a granular look into the specific strengths of the industry’s leading software providers,” says the report. ”And make no mistake, every vendor appearing in these lists is an industry leader.”

The LeaderBoard evaluation form provides retailers with an opportunity to explain why they voted for a vendor the way they did. Instead of a simple numerical choice, this section of the form allows retailers to provide deeper insight into their evaluation thinking.
