Lyon, August 21, 2019 – Cegid, specialist in business management solutions for Accounting, Tax, Payroll and Human Resources, ERP and Retail, has chosen François Vauthier as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
With French and international markets growing, Cegid is bolstering its positions in various ranges of solutions. The acquisition in early August 2019 of Meta4, a Spanish company specialized in Cloud solutions for business lines of Payroll and Human Resources, provides very promising outlooks for international business.
As CFO, François Vauthier will oversee Cegid’s Finance, Information Systems-IT, Legal and M&A departments.
This is a newly created position. Based in Lyon, François Vauthier will report directly to Pascal Houillon, CEO of Cegid.
Since October 2016, François Vauthier has been Chief Financial Officer at Altice France Group, where he joined in 2011. Altice France (formerly Numericable–SFR) is specialized in telecoms, telephony and media.
François Vauthier has performed various managerial functions at Altice France since 2011: Internal Controls manager at Numericable (2011–2012); CFO at Cabovisao and then Oni Telecom, two Portuguese telecom operators and subsidiaries of Altice (2012–2014); Financial Controller at Altice Group, in charge of transformation missions in France, the Dominican Republic, Portugal, Israel and the United States (2014–2016); and CFO since October 2016.
Before joining Altice Group, François Vauthier began his career at Ernst & Young Paris in the Audit and Statutory Audit departments, then in Transaction Services.
François Vauthier (37 years old) graduated from Grenoble Ecole de Management in 2006. He also obtained an MBA from Southern Illinois University (USA). He will begin his new job in Lyon on September 9.
“The arrival of François Vauthier means we are entrusting this key position of CFO to an expert with significant experience in a highly competitive environment where investment and economic-model quality is vital. Moreover, François has significant international and operational experience in the technology sector.
I am convinced that his contribution will be a solid asset for the execution of our strategic plan,” stated Pascal Houillon.
“The creation of a stronger financial structure will accelerate Cegid’s growth, especially internationally. This organization improves our structure to better integrate our latest major acquisition, Meta4, which represents a significant growth lever for Cegid,” added Pascal Houillon.
“The quality of the project and people at Cegid convinced me to join this ambitious adventure. My priority will be to contribute my financial and operational experience in order to bring Cegid to the highest level,” stated François Vauthier.
