Cegid’s statement regarding the current international crisis

Strengthening our level of cyber security

We have implemented additional cyber security measures, namely a surveillance team that will closely monitor the situation and immediately take action if required.

Our Cloud platforms remain operational, and the current situation will not affect our product development. Customers will continue to benefit from Cegid services, regardless of their location. Our services will be provided in accordance with the applicable law and Cegid’s high standards.

We will remain in close contact with our customers who have been affected by the recent SWIFT sanctions imposed by the international community.

Ensuring our operations are secure is our top priority

Due to the international crisis that is currently unfolding, the following security measures were applied as of the end of February:

• 1. Our operational teams have been placed on high alert;
• 2. Real-time surveillance of the crisis has been implemented;
• 3. The surveillance team will be continuously updated to ensure they are able to take immediate action in the best conditions possible, if required;
• 4. Technical recommendations on security measures have been drawn up and will be regularly updated as needed.

As a leader in Cloud solutions, Cegid has privileged access to official cyber security organisations such as The National Cybersecurity Agency of France and CERT.

The National Cybersecurity Agency of France guide on the preventive measures to take against cyber attacks is available here (in French). This guide is an excellent reference on defensive measures to take against any and all political attacks at the national level.

In addition to the security measures put in place by Cegid, we strongly recommend our customers implement a strict cyber security response plan in the event of any cyber security incidents or threats (e.g. ransomware).
