Cegid is excited to announce that our partner, Global Omnichannel based in Australia, have launched in Stockholm, Sweden, to respond to growing demand in the Scandinavian region.
Mats Gunnarsson, CEO of Global Omnichannel, originally from Sweden, recognises the need for our type of retail technology services in this region. So he is proud to be expanding Global Omnichannel into his home territory. They work alongside us to deliver end-to-end retail solutions to specialist fashion retailers.

While Australians are some of the world’s leading online shoppers, they also love a bricks-and-mortar experience. Businesses there are well known for rapid adoption of innovative technology. When we entered the retail market there, it was really in need of quality retail solutions that gave a seamless experience to online and in-store shoppers, and the response has been amazing.”
Scandinavia: A Natural Fit
With several Scandinavians working in the Global Omnichannel Australia business, the move to the region has been organic and timely. Mats continues, “We have been working with Swedish retailers for a year or so now. And we partner with Cegid as the key solution provider in the region. In many ways the markets are similar. The consumers are technically-savvy but also value a personalized shopping experience.”

R.M.Williams is an iconic Australian leather boot manufacturer, who has a very strong online and physical-store presence and place a premium on customer experience. We worked closely with them in the set-up of their innovative flag-ship retail store in New York City, and are currently rolling out the technology to their stores globally.
