Cegid has updated the Yourcegid* range for middle-market companies and group subsidiaries

An updated version of the Yourcegid* product range, with new modules on finance, sales management, contract management, production management, payroll and HR, was unveiled at the "Gestion Finance" trade fair on June 22-23, 2010.

A culmination of two years of work and more than 18 months of research and development, the new version of Yourcegid (formerly ERP Cegid business) continues to meet companies' wide-ranging needs and now offers even more specialized features and functionalities.

Following the release of Yourcegid Manufacturing in March, Yourcegid Retail in April, and more recently Yourcegid Hotel Restaurant and Yourcegid HR, Cegid unveiled its range of new Yourcegid modules intended for middle-market companies and group subsidiaries: finance, sales management, contract management, production management and payroll/HR. at the "Gestion Finance" trade fair on June 22-23.
New versions of Yourcegid Wholesaling and Services will be released at the ERP trade fair in autumn 2010.

The new version launched today combines functional advances designed to improve business productivity with features to guarantee a high level of customer satisfaction, as Jean-François Marcel, business line director for Services, Wholesaling and Finance at Cegid, explained: "Our primary goal was to concentrate our resources on customer satisfaction by focusing on ergonomics, ease of navigation, simplicity, customization of applications and solutions for business-specific needs."

Many new functionalities have been introduced to help IT, finance and HR departments deal with new challenges and optimize their productivity by improving the user experience and streamlining company procedures. The new functionalities also respond to the changing needs of modern day companies.
 

New functionalities include:

  • Accounting: a new workflow module for authorizing payments
  • Tracking invoice payments: native management of SEPA standards and new EBICS protocol-based bank communications
  • Sales management: a new localized tax management system, management of variations and options on business documents.
  • Production management: EDI in the automotive industry, a new configurator, a module for managing workshop time
  • Payroll and human resources: dematerialization of HR procedures such as declarations of employment and payslips, and a collaborative approach to managing interviews.
  • Contract management: server-based invoicing process, management of phases and groups (audit, training etc.)

An open tool that communicates with other solutions on the market, the new version:

  • integrates simply with the Cegid ecosystem:
          o Kyriba for cash management
          o Altarès for database enrichment
          o Techform for integrating a powerful configurator
          o Nomadvance for mobile solutions
          o etc.
  • offers companies web services for prices, spare parts and inventories in order to improve communication and data exchange between applications
  • simplifies the dematerialization process, in particular through EDI
  • provides a business intelligence solution based on Microsoft Olap: automated data feed, dynamic reporting, multiple standard reports (balances, general ledger, summary financial statements etc.) publishing in Excel, messaging systems, and a fully customizable decision support solution
  • improves eco-contribution by managing the Eco Emballage and DEEE recycling taxes that French companies have to pay

The new version of Yourcegid will be available for purchase in July 2010.
