Cegid acquires Vedior Front RH

Cegid steps up its positioning in the Payroll/HR market.

With an installed base of nearly 19,000 client companies using a payroll or HR information system, generating more than four million payslips every month, Cegid is a major player in the Payroll/HR market for companies of all sizes in both the private and public sectors (the latter through Civitas).

With the acquisition of Vedior Front RH, Cegid gives tangible expression to its plans to step up growth in this market and offer new HR services to assist corporate human resource departments, whose profession is undergoing profound change.

Cegid, one of the top five French provider/hosts (source: PAC 2009), is also strengthening its position in HR solutions delivered in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode, with more than 200,000 payslips per month.

Vedior Front RH is an innovative services platform for managing human resources

Vedior Front RH is a Payroll/HR software provider and subsidiary of the Randstad group, a worldwide player in human resources. It serves companies of all sizes and in all sectors of the economy.

Founded in 2006, Vedior Front RH has 19 employees and posted sales of around €1.4 million in 2009, 50% of which derived from recurrent contracts. It is located principally in Issy Les Moulineaux and also has a presence in Lyon.

The company's employees will be integrated into Cegid's Payroll/HR Business Unit and will contribute their industry expertise thereto.

Numerous strategic and operational synergies between Cegid and Vedior Front RH

This acquisition will:

• give Cegid a best-of-breed HR solution for talent management, thereby adding more value to Cegid's customer base in a fast-growing market;
• round out Cegid's product range with time management and resource planning solutions;
• make Cegid's infrastructure and expertise in hosting available to Vedior Front RH's customers (On Demand, SaaS, cloud computing);
• foster the development of an outsourcing solution in BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) mode, which Cegid would like to offer to its corporate customers;
• increase Cegid's recurrent revenue in its areas of expertise.
